Osage Beach is a fan favorite in the Ozarks, known for being the Midwest’s premier lake destination boasting world-class boating, shopping, dining, fishing, State Parks, and other must-not-miss recreation.
If you haven’t heard of Osage Beach, also commonly called, Lake of the Ozarks, you definitely will by summer of 2024.
In November 2022, a press released shared that a major project known as “Oasis at Lakeport” is planned for Osage Beach’s community. “Oasis at Lakeport” is going to be a resort and entertainment attraction. In the press release, project managers stated the total cost would be $300 million dollars. The current plan for the project includes 20 acres of amusement rides, hotels, restaurants, an amphitheater, a marina, a boardwalk, and a 200 foot tall observation wheel.
According to the press release, the “Oasis at Lakeport” project is set to open in the summer of 2024.
