The Nutcracker with the Springfield Ballet

Springfield Ballet is excited to present the 2022-2023 season featuring the 37th annual production of The Nutcracker in December 2022 and a premiere production of a ballet adaptation of The Wizard of Oz in May 2023!
The holidays come alive in Springfield with our annual production of The Nutcracker. Join Clara and her Nutcracker as they waltz through her dreams of toy soldiers and mice battling, dancing flowers, the Sugar Plum Fairy and more in the Enchanted Forest of Snow and Land of Sweets. The production will run December 16-19, 2022 at the Landers Theatre.
In May, we are following the yellow brick road and hope you join us for a magical production of The Wizard of Oz. Follow Dorothy’s journey on her way to find home and find a few friends along the way. The production is choreographed by Alison Jaramillo, Co-Director of Littleton Ballet Academy, and staged by Springfield Ballet’s Artistic Director, Ashley Paige Romines, and Associate Artistic Director, Maria Hall. The Wizard of Oz will be presented May 5-7, 2023 at the Landers Theater.
