Springfield’s Saturday AM 50 Miler (Road) (is back).

There are two main 50 mile routes: https://www.strava.com/routes/12165006 and https://www.strava.com/routes/12165011
The plan is to alternate between the 2 routes listed above but alternate routes are at the ride leader’s discretion and will be announced in the event discussion ahead of time with link to route file. For example, the AWHC route might make an appearance or two. Ride leader @Tony Franklin unless stated otherwise. Thanks for agreeing to do this, Tony!! Folks have been asking what happened to the Sat am ride.
This is for whoever wants to show up and ride. There will be a weekly ride leader who will verify the route and give some pace guidance but each week is ultimately up to those that show up. Would anticipate moving average speeds depending on the group could be very roughly between 18-19 mph. Sometimes less. Sometimes more. The ride is totally self-sufficient and is not a “No Drop”. So bring friends you can ride with, or come on out with a positive group riding attitude and ride with new friends. Be sure you have the route.
The ride will start and end at Springfield Brewing Company at 305 S Market Ave.
