Springfield Workshop Show -n- Shine

We are here to help raise money to repair damages done to the SWI (a non profit organization) by trespassers on June 26, 2023. This Show-N-Shine will be held at the beautiful American Legion 639 off Scenic in Springfield MO from 4pm-8pm on Sunday, July 30.

There will be a Silent Auction with loads of FABULOUS items up for grabs, People’s Choice Awards, special “poker chip” style coins for the first 50 people who attend the show and sooooooo much more.

The cost? Well, if you’d LOVE to help a great and deserving cause (and come on, who does’t?) then the fee to show-n-shine your car is $ 20 . We will then give you a bucket with a registration number on it, which you will set in front of your car for people to drop tokens into to “vote” for People’s Choice. Now don’t grumble about the cost of a Show-N-Shine! This is going to a great cause. A cause that benefits the disabled people of our community. So please, be supportive of something this beautiful!!!!

Well, how do we get tokens? Tokens are going to be for sell at the registration table, $1/token, 6 tokens for $5, 12 tokens for $10 and so on. You get the idea. At the end of the show, the cars with the most token will receive People’s Choice Awards , First, Second and Third. You can buy all the tokens you want and place them all in your bucket, a friends bucket, the ugliest car bucket, the newest car bucket, the choices will be endless! SWI Team Members will get their chance to vote as well for their choices of First, Second and Third. This will make for a total of 6 chances for you to win a great plaque to take home and show your pride in assisting our community!

The Silent Auction Tables will be loaded up with the bidding sheets that will have descriptions of items for auction that you’ll see posted here so make sure your bring cash, check or charge cards to pay for your goods when your the winning bid! Those items will be posted as each one comes in so that everyone can start preparing their wallets and purses for the cost of their bids.

SWI will have their Produce Stand there with fresh produce to sell from their amazing greenhouse. They will also have representatives there to speak with anyone who would like to learn more about them.

Springfield Workshop Foundation is a non-profit organization that relies solely on grants, fundraiser, and the employment opportunities that are offered to them from the larger companies to assist in what they do. Every dollar they get is budgeted to it’s fullest every year. Let’s show them some Car Community Love and support their fabulous efforts!!!
