Sensory Swim

The Ozark Community Center ( The OC) has partnered with CC Links to create a designated time at our indoor heated pool for our community members who typically have a hard time enjoying The OC pool.
Activities in the water can help children with autism, ADHD, or specific sensory challenges strengthen their sensory processing skills while providing calming and modulating benefits. Water is also a safe and supportive environment for trying new skills.
The OC has a zero-entry pool, making it easy for little ones experimenting with getting in the pool for the first time or those just wanting to get their toes wet.
During our Sensory Swim, we will have;
No Whistles (emergency use only)
No Loud Music
No Big Slide
