Phelps Grove Park LANTERN WALK
October 7 @ 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm
Multiple Neighborhoods are coming together at Phelps Grove Park for Springfield’s 3 annual Lantern Walk and everyone is invited!
Bring your lanterns and join us for games, activities and a fun walk where you learn all about being a safe pedestrian! October is National Pedestrian Safety Month and we’re going to have a party!
TWO OPTIONS:
You can join one of the three Lantern Walk “Trains” that start at the following schools: Rountree, Delaware and Sunshine. Those walking trains are guided and leave in time to reach the park at 6:30pm. See maps under the “Discussion” tab for more details.
OR:
You can join us either directly at the park at 6:30pm for a short 0.3 mile loop walk…
