Owl Prowl
January 12 @ 5:30 pm - 6:30 pm
Did you know that a group of owls is called a parliament? Or that the tiniest owl in the world is the Elf Owl that only weighs 1.5 ounces? Do you want to learn what the word zygodactyl means?
If you love owls and want to learn more about them, join us for the Owl Prowl at Lake Springfield! The amazingly intelligent and enthusiastic docents from Dickerson Park Zoo will be teaching us about these incredible birds while we view them up close.
After the presentation, we will have some delicious hot chocolate and take a brief stroll out into the park to listen for our nocturnal friends in the wild.
