Learn How to Crochet! – A Beginners Crochet Class
Join us for our beginner’s crochet class on February 7th from 6-8 pm. This class includes two projects so that you can choose the right one for you. This class is perfect for beginners and those looking to expand their confidence in crochet.
Project One: Potholder
If you’re a complete beginner, we’ll start with the basics: crochet tools and stitches, counting stitches, reading patterns, and how to sew in your tails. After covering the basics, we will teach you how to make a potholder. Potholders are the perfect simple project that can be completed in a few hours. This project will primarily use single crochet.
Project Two: Dice Bag
If you have some experience with crochet but want to learn more complex stitches, our other project is a dice bag. We’ll teach you how to make a magic circle and crochet in the round when making the dice bag. This project uses slip stitches, single crochet, double crochet, and half double crochet.
All supplies and patterns are included. You’ll also get access to instructional videos to help you finish the project at home if you don’t have time to finish it in class. No matter which project you choose, you will receive both patterns. This class is great for everyone, including kids 10 and up. Please have your adult with you if you are under the age of 16.
