๐—ญ๐—ผ๐—ผ๐—บ๐—ฎ๐—ฑ๐—ฎ๐—ป๐—ธ๐—ฒ, Tokyoโ€™s renowned acrobatic Kendama duo, will headline this yearโ€™s festival! Known for their dynamic blend of traditional Kendama (wooden cup and ball toy) and modern pop dance, Zoomadanke has captivated audiences worldwide since 2010.
๐—จ๐˜‡๐˜‚๐—บ๐—ฎ๐—ฟ๐˜‚, a yosakoi dance ensemble from San Joseโ€™s Japantown, performs an energetic style of dance that blends traditional and modern Japanese movements and music.
๐—ฌ๐—ฎ๐˜€๐˜‚ ๐—œ๐˜€๐—ต๐—ถ๐—ฑ๐—ฎ is a storyteller and magician originally from Ube, Japan. Ishida combines traditional Japanese theatre, music, origami, magic and storytelling to bring the enchanting land of Japan to his audiences.
๐—ฆ๐—ฒ๐—ถ๐—ฟ๐—ฎ๐—ป ๐—–๐—ต๐—ถ๐—ฏ๐—ฎ is a world-renowned shodo artist from Japan’s Fukushima prefecture. Her large-scale calligraphy performances are inspired by hope and peace.
