The Gillioz presents a weekend celebrating America’s art form – JAZZ. It’s a weekend full of the sights and sounds that celebrate the past, present, and future of jazz. Mark your calendars now and spread the word – it’s a new era for jazz in the Ozarks as the Gillioz offers up our first annual GILLIOZ JAZZ FESTIVAL – April 5-6-7!

It all begins Friday night April 5 as the Gillioz lobby becomes the Jazz Cafe’ with Smithsonian art on display featuring jazz legends, a premium bar and food truck offerings from Don Tono Mexican Food and Smore-ish Killer Desserts!

TheTHIRDFloor will be open to tour the various Resident Companies, take in more art, view screenings of SATO48 shorts and more! PLUS – tours of the historic Gillioz Theatre at 6:00 & 7:30 PM.

In the morning the Jazz Cafe’ is back for one more day! From 11:00 AM – 4:00 PM experience LIVE music from jazz bands, Smithsonian art on display featuring jazz legends, a premium bar and food truck offerings from Don Tono Mexican Food and Smore-ish Killer Desserts!

Join us April 6th for a headline performance by Branford Marsalis & MOJO!

New Orleans-born Branford Marsalis is an award-winning saxophonist, band leader, featured classical soloist, and a film and Broadway composer. In the process, he has become a multi award-winning artist with three Grammys, a citation by the National Endowment for the Arts as a Jazz Master and an avatar of contemporary artistic excellence.
