Garden Day

May 11, 2023 @ 3:00 pm - 7:00 pm

Mark your calendars for Thursday, May 11, from 3–7 p.m.! Garden Day is an exciting and enriching event for all Friends of the Garden members and garden enthusiasts that kicks off National Public Gardens Week, which runs May 12-21! National Public Gardens Week is an initiative to drive the public to visit, value, and volunteer at public gardens in their area and when they travel.

Visitors will be able to meet various garden adopters and volunteers to learn about the beauty and diversity of plants! They will be set up on the upper deck of the Botanical Center.

The Roston Native Butterfly House will also be briefly opening during the event to give visitors a preview before the official start of the season!

Friends of the Garden will host our Annual Meeting at 5 p.m. in the Botanical Center. We will give a snapshot of what was accomplished in 2022 and a preview of what lies ahead for 2023.

Afterward, we will have a social hour featuring appetizers and mingling!
