Fassnight Creek Naturalization Info & Clean Up

Please join us on Saturday, September 9 at 8:00 AM to learn more about the naturalization of Fassnight Creek at the Museum and how you can be involved with this and other outdoor projects at the Museum. Participants will enjoy coffee and a one hour presentation that will include an update on the Fassnight Creek naturalization project, future maintenance plans, and volunteer opportunities with the Museum.
The presentation will be followed by a clean-up of Fassnight Creek. Participants joining in the clean-up should dress appropriately in old clothes they don’t mind getting dirty, and sturdy, closed-toed shoes. Work gloves, sunscreen*, and bug spray* are recommended. The Museum will provide grabbers and bags.
*Aerosols are not permitted in the Museum building. Please apply your spray(s) outside the facility.
