Cruisin’ the Square & Community Fish Fry

This year we have partnered with Sparta Main Street, Drag City Cruise-In event. Over 100+ cars will head west down 14 Highway to 3rd Street in Ozark parade style. The classic cars, motorcycles and hot rods will be parked on the square about 5:15ish mark. We invite you to be on the square to watch all the cars arrive on the square.

If you are not participating in the Sparta Drag City Cruise-In and would like to participate in the Ozark Cruisin’ the Square we invite you to bring your car, motorcycle or hot rod to the square for parking from 2pm to 5pm.

The square will be closed to thru traffic starting at 2pm. Volunteers will be on site to guide you for parking.

All other event attendees will need to park off the square.

The Fish Fry will begin at 5:30pm-7:30pm.
Adults will be $15.00 per plate and $10 for children ages 4-10. Ages 3 and under are free. Meal will include lots of delicious fish, sides of different varieties such as coleslaw , corn fritters, southwest cheesy potato with a hint of jalapeño, French fries, two kinds of hush puppies, jalapeño poppers and more.

Drinks will be $1.00 for bottled water or $3.00 for McAlister’s sweet and unsweet tea. Feel free to bring non-alcohol beverages.

Buff Lamb and the Arrested will perform at the Gazebo from 6pm to 9pm. Bring a lawn chair and enjoy the evening with some cruisin’ tunes. This is the 2nd year for Buff Lamb to return to Cruisin’ the Square.

A kids zone will be located on the southwest corner of the square 5pm-7pm. Lots of activities and games for the kids to play. Make sure they stop by and get a classic car sticker. The Ozark Fire Department will also be located near the kids zone for the children/adults to check and the fire trucks and ask lots of questions.

Hart of Ozark Delight Ice Cream and Suburban Snow will be located on the southeast side on the food pad for yummy treats.

***Restrooms will also be located on the southeast side of the square.

***Trash receptacles will be located on each side of the sqaure.

Many stores will be open for your shopping enjoyment. GW Coffee House will be serving some yummy coffee.

If you are not a fish fan for dinner, Iguana Rojo (mexican) and Brickstreet BBQ and Subs will also be open.

All proceeds from the fish fry will help the Historic River District continue to bring economic vitality and many projects to the Historic River District area.
