Annual Show Me Gourd Art Festival

Join us for the 2023 Show-Me Gourd Society Art Festival as we celebrate the wonderful opportunity to get back together again with friends and fellow Gourdheads. Workshops will be scheduled all weekend starting on Friday. These workshops are taught by some of the most talented gourd artists and crafters in the country. Artists are invited to enter gourds, either crafted or raw. On Saturday and Sunday, the festival is open to the public. Trained judges select the best gourds in each class. Ribbons are awarded for first, second, and third place. Special awards and certificates are also given. A host of vendors sell their wares at the festival. They have dried gourds of all shapes and sizes, crafted gourds, patterns, books, tools, dyes, embellishments, and many other supplies. SMGS also provides educational displays, demonstrations, and informative handouts.
