17th Annual Hot Air Balloon Glow

• Gates open at 5:00 p.m.
• EXCLUSIVE VIP Sponsor Dinner and Experience starts at 7:00 p.m.
• GLOW at dusk (approx. 8:00 to 9:00 p.m.)

WEATHER: The 17th Annual Balloon Glow presented by Ozark Chevrolet is highly dependent on weather conditions. If there are high wind speeds or rain in the area, it is possible the balloon pilots will decide not to inflate. This decision will be made minutes prior to the scheduled event. Updates will be given on this event page as they become available.

TIME: The 17th Annual Balloon Glow presented by Ozark Chevrolet is located inside the grounds of the Sertoma Duck Race Festival located at Finley River Park in downtown Ozark.

5:00 p.m. Festival and parking begin, grounds open. Due to the number of attendees in previous years, we recommend arriving early.

7:00 p.m. EXCLUSIVE VIP Sponsor Dinner and Experience.

Approximately 8:00 to 9:30 p.m. The hot-air balloons are tethered to the ground so all attendees can watch the massive balloons inflate and glow for approximately an hour and a half at dusk.
This is a night-time balloon glow exhibit and not a launch; hot-air balloons do not launch into the air when it is dark.

11:00 p.m. Festival concludes for Friday.
COST: Sponsorships provide the funding for the Balloon Glow that benefits Children’s Smile Center! We are grateful this allows the Balloon Glow to be FREE to the public!

The Sertoma Duck Race Festival does have costs associated with their event, including a $10 parking fee.

DUCK RACE INFORMATION: Check out 4csertoma.com for more details on all the activities going on during our annual Balloon Glow! Besides the Balloon Glow, activities currently planned include live music, a kid’s zone with inflatables and rides and lots of great food and drink options as well as small business vendor booths to visit. There are costs associated with many of these activities, including a $10 per car parking fee. CCCC Sertoma oversees the parking for both days, food/drink concessions, and booth rentals. PETS: We do not encourage pets to attend, however, they are allowed on park property. The Balloon Glow is usually hot with large crowds of people. If you do bring pets, please be responsible for their care and welfare.
