Redefining Bereavement: On Angels Wings Tackles Grief and Workplace Support in the Ozarks 🪽

When a family faces the unimaginable tragedy of a terminal childhood diagnosis, stillbirth, or NICU loss, On Angels Wings ensures they never have to walk alone. Founded by Michelle Cramer after an emotional encounter with a terminally ill seven-month-old boy named Logan, this Springfield-based non-profit partners with six area hospitals—including Cox and Mercy—to provide free, therapeutic photography during a family’s darkest moments. However, photography is only their first touchpoint. Recognizing that society quickly moves on while a parent’s grief has no timeline, the organization steps in as an extended family by providing long-term support.
