Grace talks with Scott Ellis from St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and Mike Holmes from Mid-West Family Broadcasting about the upcoming St. Jude Radiothon on 104.7 The Cave and 105.1 The Bull and why this event means so much to families right here at home.
Many people know St. Jude nationally, but what some may not realize is that Springfield is home to one of only eight St. Jude affiliate clinics in the country, allowing local children to receive certain treatments while staying close to family and community.
During the Radiothon, listeners will hear real stories from families whose lives were changed through St. Jude — stories that remind us how quickly life can change and how powerful community support can be when it matters most.
