Free CPR Training from Springfield Fire Department, Mercy EMS, and CoxHealth EMS

The Springfield Fire Department, Mercy EMS, and CoxHealth EMS are partnering to offer free hands-only CPR training classes in acknowledgment of American Heart Month.

According to the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute, February is Heart Month and is dedicated to raising awareness of the risk of heart disease and educating, as well as motivating Americans to adopt healthy lifestyles to prevent heart disease.

See below the dates, times, and locations of the free opportunities for CPR training classes from the Springfield Fire Department, CoxHealth EMS, and Mercy EMS. There is no registration necessary for the training. 

  • Saturday, February 1st, 2025
    • 1:00 pm – 2:00 pm and 2:30 pm to 3:30pm
    • Oak Grove Community Center
  • Saturday, February 8th, 2025
    • 1:00 pm – 2:00 pm and 2:30 pm to 3:30pm
    • American Red Cross
  • Saturday, February 15th, 2025
    • 1:00 pm – 2:00 pm and 2:30 pm to 3:30pm
    • The Library Station
  • Saturday, February 22nd, 2025
    • 1:00 pm – 2:00 pm and 2:30 pm to 3:30pm
    • Dan Kinney Family Center – Community Room
