The Springfield Regional Arts Council was recently selected to receive the Missouri Arts Council’s award for Arts Education!
The Springfield Regional Arts Council supports students in grades K-8 and educators throughout the region to find success, reach educational goals, and discover creativity through the arts through it’s programming Growing Up in the Arts and the Springfield Regional Arts Integration Conference.
According to a press release, the Springfield Regional Arts Council programs are designed to instill cultural and academic confidence, fostering a lifelong appreciation for the arts, offering students a balanced experience, combining hands-on practice in various disciplines with opportunities to develop interpersonal skills.
