Mercy grants $500,000 to 29 organizations – 2 area organizations

Mercy recently granted $500,000 to 29 organizations across five states, Arkansas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, Texas, and Missouri.

According to a news release, the purpose of Mercy’s grants is to provide support for community-based programs consistent with Mercy’s mission and vision that are aligned with an identified community health need.

Of the 30 organizations, 9 are Missouri organizations, and 2 are area organizations.

  • The Free Store Ministry
    • Serving as a cooling center and a warming center during extreme weather, also providing various types of assistance at the storefront location.
    • Located in Lebanon, Missouri
  • Life Change SWMO
    • A place where people who are struggling in any area of life come together in community.
    • Located in Cassville, Missouri
