Westlake Ace Hardware recently hosted their annual Fan Drive with The Salvation Army! To help those in need beat the upcoming summer heat, 145 Westlake Ace Hardware-owned stores across the country partnered with their local Salvation Army commands to provide fans for communities in need.
People could support their local community through Westlake Ace Hardware’s annual Fan Drive, in-store or online, by rounding up your purchase or donating directly online, with all money donated to the Fan Drive to be distributed locally per donation.
According to a news release from The Salvation Army, Springfield customers stepped up to donate enough change to purchase 93 new box fans to help their fellow citizens in need.
The Salvation Army recently shared the following information on their Facebook page about the 2024 Westlake Fan Drive distribution.

SAVE THE DATEStarting July 22nd at 9:30 AM, The Salvation Army of Springfield will distribute FREE box fans to those in need. Please review the requirements:
-Must reside in Greene or Christian counties
-Must provide a photo ID
-Must not have access to A/C
