The Salvation Army URGENTLY asking for Food Pantry Donations

The Salvation Army of Springfield is urgently asking for Food Pantry Donations from the community.

According to a news release from The Salvaton Army of Springfield, “Countless individuals and families continue to face financial hardship in our community. As a result, The Savation Army’s Customer Choice Food Pantry is expereicing an overwhelming surge in demand, which has stretched our resources to the limit.”

Christ Brumett, the Social Services Director of The Salvation Army of Springfield shared, “We are calling on individuals, businesses, churches, and community groups to come together and support our Customer Choice Food Pantry during this critical time. Every donation, no matter how small, can make a significant difference in the lives of those struggling to put food on the table.”

The urgent need for food donations include dry pasta, pasta sause, peanut butter, oatmeal, dry beans, canned vegetables, pancake mix, canned fruit, and ramen noodles.

There are two ways to donate to The Salvation Army of Springfield.

If you would like to drop off conations in person, you can do so at The Salvation Army Corps, located at 1707 W Chestnut Expressway in Springfield, Missouri. Donations are accepted daily from 8:30 am to 4:00 pm.
