Springfield Police Department’s Share The Road Applications NOW OPEN

Applications for the Springfield Police Department’s motorcycle safety course, Share The Road, are now open.

The Springfield Police Traffic Section has developed a Civilian Motorcycle course. This one-day course will be offered to the public to give riders tools to make them better riders in the attempt to reduce motorcycle crashes. – Springfield Police Department

According to a Springfield Police Department news release, the Share the Road course will cover advanced riding techniques, motorcycle handling, object avoidance, and other techniques and skills that help current riders be safer while on the road.

The 2024 Share The Road Course dates are as follows…

  • Saturday, March 23rd, 2024
  • Saturday, April 20th, 2024
  • Saturday, May 18th, 2024
  • Saturday, August 24th, 2024

Riders interested in attending a Share The Road course, must full out an interest application. CLICK HERE to fill out an interest application. For more inquiries about Share The Road, email sharetheroad@springfieldmo.gov.

The Springfield Police Department has reported an interest application must be received by Thursday, March 21st, at 12:00 pm for riders interested in atteneding the first course offering in 2024.
