Drury University joins Southwest Baptist University Mercy College of Health Professions Partnership

Drury University is joining the Southwest Baptist University Mercy College of Health Professions partnership!

According to a news release from Drury University, through the partnership, students will receive their nonclinical education at Drury, Southwest Baptist University will provide the didactic clinical instruction at their Springfield campus, and Mercy will provide the clinical opportunities. Upon graduating, students will receive a Bachelor of Science in Health Science from Drury and an Associate of Science in Nursing from Southwest Baptist University with the option of completing a Bachelor of Science in Nursing.

The partnership will being in Fall 2024. Drury University students can now register for the nursing program.

“In 1986, Mercy partnered with Southwest Baptist University to offer nursing degree programs at the Mercy Hospital Springfield/SBU campus. These programs may lead to an Associate of Science in Nursing degree, which permits graduates to sit for a Registered Nurse licensure exam and complete their Bachelor of Science in Nursing — for nurses already licensed — and Master of Science in Nursing degrees.
