Buc-ee’s is a Texas-based chain of country stores and gas stations with locations in Texas, Alabama, Georgia, Kentucky, Florida, South Carolina, Tennessee, and now, Missouri. The Buc-ee’s is a 53,000-square-foot travel center with over 100 gas pumps on the northeast outskirts of Springfield off I-44 interstate.

According to a news release from the City of Springfield, “The City of Springfield and Buc-ee’s will host a ribbon cutting and grand opening for Missouri’s first Buc-ee’s, located at I-44 and Mulroy Road in Springfield, at 11 a.m. Monday, December 11th.
The City’s Economic Vitality Department worked with Buc-ee’s to bring the location to Springfield with a $4.1 million infrastructure reimbursement agreement and a Community Improvement District. The store will create approximately 200 jobs.”
