PRESS RELEASE FROM I POUR LIFE
I Pour Life recently announced their Christmas Soiree “Bridge to Home” will be held Thursday, December 7th, 2023 at the Barley House at Moon Town Crossing! The festive eventing will usher in the season of giving with dinner and musical performances by Heather Rooney McBride, Tara (Slaight) Chitwood, Megan Rooney Tompson, Josh Thompson, and Zachary Slaight.
The proceeds from the Christmas Soiree will go toward I Pour Life’s positive youth development programs. Serving older, at-risk youth throughout Missouri, I Pour Life’s approach provides youth, many of whom are aging out of the foster care system, access to a certified LifeCoach and a supporting environment ripe for growth and development. Through trust-based relationships, youth develop critical life skills to help them successfully transition into adulthood. I Pour Life is a nationally recognized leader in reaching older, at-risk youth and helping them identify their strengths.
“On average, there are more than 4,500 youth aged 15 or older in foster care throughout Missouri. Without an intervening program like I Pour Life, the statistics for these youth to make successful transitions into adulthood are against them.” Ben McBride, I Pour Life Executive Director, says. “Our goal is to provide a ‘bridge to home’ so each youth experiences a sense of hope and opportunity they may otherwise never have.”
This year tickets are on sale for the event, and sponsorships are available. If you’re interested in sponsoring or purchasing tickets, CLICK HERE. If you have questions about the event, contact I Pour Life Development Director, Heather Neubauer, at firstname.lastname@example.org or 417-771-1150.
I Pour Life is a nonprofit organization that exists to assist youth ages 16-24 through its positive youth development program by helping youth identify and apply their unique strengths to experience a successful, self-sufficient transition into adulthood.
