Care to Learn recently celebrated meeting over 3 million health, hunger, and hygiene needs!
Care to Learn is a nonprofit organization that exists to provide immediate funding to meet emergent needs in the areas of health, hunger, and hygiene so every student can be successful in school.
“In 2008, Care to Learn started with one goal and one mission: To fill the gaps for Springfield students in the areas of health, hunger, and hygiene and to help kids living in poverty. It has now expanded to 42 communities all across Missouri and is available to more than 130,000 students.” – Care to Learn

Care to Learn was founded in 2008, is headquartered in Springfield, Mo., and now, in 2023, partners with 42 school districts across the state of Missouri.
