Seattle Roast Coffee, a locally owned coffee shop in Downtown Springfield, recently announced they are closing. Seattle Roast Coffee will officially close on July 20th, 2023.
Owners, Morris and Becky, announced on Seattle Roast Coffee’s Facebook page of their decision to close. See their full statement below.
“The past year has been a roller coaster for us with health issues and after months of thoughtful consideration, we have made the difficult decision to close our doors. Going forward, we have chosen to focus our energy on our health and family. As longtime Downtown Springfield residents and stakeholders we deeply care about our neighbors, staff and community, which made this decision even more difficult. We send our heartfelt thanks to our tenacious staff, loyal customers, and all of you that helped spread the word and supported our efforts. If you’re looking for dedicated employees to help at your business, please reach out and we would be happy to connect you. If you have a gift card, please redeem it before July 20. With that said, we do now have a beautifully renovated space that is available for lease where Seattle Roast currently resides.
