The Arena League is Coming to Springfield!

The Arena League is coming to SPRINGFIELD!

Last month, an election was taken by The Arena League on which town should be part of The Arena League’s inaugural season, based upon their narrowed choices of 10 markets. On Thursday, March 9th, The Arena League‘s commissioner, NFL Hall of Famer Tim Brown, visited Springfield to make the BIG ANNOUNCEMENT, of Springfield being chosen for a team in The Arena League’s first inaugural season AND Springfield being the first city chosen to get a team in the league.

“Officials from The Arena League announced that Springfield, MO would be the first awarded a team for its inaugural season beginning in June of 2024. The yet-to-be-named team will be playing home games at the new Wilson Logistics Arena on the Ozark Empire Fairgrounds. The group announced not only their arrival, but also plans to hire a local staff, involve local business leaders in the ownership group, the sale of season tickets, and even have the community name the team.” – The Arena League
