This morning, Tuesday, November 15th, crews installed Springfield’s Christmas tree in Park Central Square in Downtown Springfield.
The official lighting ceremony for the Christmas tree is during the Mayor’s Tree Lighting Holiday Show, scheduled for Saturday, November 19th, from 6 pm to 9 pm on Park Central square.
At the Mayor’s Tree Lighting Holiday Show you can also expect an opportunity to take selfies with Santa, see local talent, a holiday storytime, free treats, free ice skating, carriage rides, a holiday express train, and more!
